Happy last day of January. How are you feeling? Any new goals for February?

I am celebrating a successful month of our New Year-No Fear challenge. We focused on making small sustainable changes and gaining strength vs losing weight. I must say this has been the least stressful I have ever felt after a challenge knowing that I can keep going on this path without feeling like I’m depriving myself.

Transformation Tuesday⬇️

What I am doing differently this year⬇️
1. Focusing on small sustainable changes that I can keep up forever. ✅
2. Muscle gain Over weight loss ✅
3. Intermittent fasting- eating 12-8 fasting 8pm-noon which gives my body time to digest and heal.✅
4. adding power lifting workouts 3 days a week✅
5. 30 days of yoga challenge with @adrienelouise ! I plan to keep this up daily!✅
6. Drinking about 6 oz of homemade Veggie juice daily which I make every 3 days. ✅
7. Teaching my virtual and in person classes 5x a week✅
8. Eating more mindfully and keeping myself accountable to get in ample veggies, water and enough protein. ✅

What I’m NOT doing⬇️
1. ❌Obsessing over cutting all carbs. (bread isn’t the enemy and carbs give us energy)
2. ❌Feeling guilty about my food
3. ❌Excessive cardio!

I’ve been kinder to myself this year about progress over perfection. I want to live longer and stronger and am putting my energy into what I can add versus what I can’t have. Time is my word this year so I’m focusing on how I can use my time more wisely! If you’re feeling defeated over slow or no progress, remember, it takes 8 weeks to make a long-lasting lifestyle change. Quick fixes don’t last so keep walking worthy towards your purpose one step at a time! Don’t give up now. I believe in you.
